Preschool / Pre-K
Introduce your child to the French language and culture at an early age when they still have the linguistic openness to easily learn a foreign language with great ease. The course is designed to be challenging and fun at the same time. Each session encourages the children to work together and progress at their own pace using a structured curriculum with worksheets and other fun activities. The curriculum promotes the development of listening, speaking, and understanding.

For this age group, we focus on basic French conversation, singing, storytelling, and vocabulary, with a different theme each week. In addition, each Saturday class incorporates an art project related to that week’s lesson, as well as outside play and snack-time, which promotes the development of the French language in a social context.

Advanced: Advanced students will begin to write in French through learning about sentence structure, verb conjugations, and expanding their vocabulary further. At this level, students will be able to express themselves using complete sentences, and will be encouraged to converse in French about various age-appropriate topics.

Adults
These two hour classes are both for beginners as well as those need- ing to brush up on their French. Designed to be challenging as well as fun, the curriculum promotes the development of listening, speaking, and understanding the language through a structured class with texts, worksheets, and other activities. The students and teacher work together to design a curriculum that students are interested in, but that also pulls them out of their comfort zone and challenges them to explore new areas of the French language.

This class is taught in a conversational manner and students are encouraged to engage in dialogue amongst one another. Through working together with their peers, students will develop a repertoire of vocabulary, phrases, and expressions used in everyday life. You’ll be speaking like a native in no time!

Class runs from 9:30 - 11.30 on Saturdays.*

Tuition: $ 380 per 12 week session for first family member (discount for additional family members). See below for session schedules and family discount information.
