LILA is a non-profit California School incorporated in 1978 under Sec 501(C) (3). IRS code.
The Board of Trustees exercises ultimate control over all aspects of the school. It is the governing body of the school corporation pursuant to the California Corporation Code. It approves the budget and ratifies contracts when authority has not been delegated to the Corporate President. The Board selects the School Director or Headmaster. The Board appoints and supervises officers of the Corporation.
It plans school growth and sets objectives for the School. The Board has three regular meetings per year and occasional special meetings.
